A lot of people don’t know that a USB-C connector alone does not make something USB 3.x. The cable and the plug at the other end also have to meet the spec. These apparently don’t.

These cables are in fact USB 2.0, not USB 3.0, and do not support the data transfer speed claimed in the Sidedeal web listing.

The problem is specific to data transfer, not charging: if used to connect two USB 3.0 devices, there are data errors.
These cables will handle QuickCharge or PowerDelivery high-rate charging.
