For the size 2x, that’s actually not a bad price. It’s slightly cheaper than the wholesale from one of my suppliers for a very similar shirt. For the other sizes, meh. The price approximates wholesale for a really good ring spun, but I don’t know if these qualify for that.
@werehatrack Not that I’m in the business, but it kind of seems that FotL isn’t as big in supplying the imprint industry versus 20+ years ago – which means I’m not as aware of their products nowadays versus other brands which I’m more apt to run across when thrift shopping.
Besides the fabric quality, sleeve fitment matters. During the Anvil era at shirt.woot, the 980 went from a boxy-but-shrinky shirt to a cut similar to the Gildan 64000 with short openings and sharply tapered sleeves. Those got nicknamed ‘mutant Anvils’.
I’m not fond of the Live and Tell blanks that Teeturtle switched over to for a similar sleeve fitment issue. Also the LAT blanks aren’t as squishy soft as the Next Level blanks they were using before.
@narfcake Yeah, after Russell Sports bought them out, Fruit pretty much vanished from the blank market. The only style that’s widely in stock is their extremely ordinary 3930, a 5-ounce-ish-kinda non-ringspun. I miss their old Loftees.
Choose the size and color you want. As long as you don’t want black, then you can only choose small or medium.
So, maybe choose white for any size you want.
