Additional information: Like many of the lithium jump start packs, this one has a frustrating characteristic that you should know about. While it has more than enough output to crank a typical engine even when the car’s battery is dead, unless the car’s battery is not completely dead, the engine will die as soon as the alternator kicks in. That’s because these packs will cease providing any electrical support to the vehicle’s system as soon as they see that the alternator output is present. But the alternator expects a reasonably live battery to act as a buffer, and without it, the alternator shuts down… and with it, the ignition system, the fuel injection system, and the engine. Ergo, they are really only useful for boosting a battery that is a bit low, not one that is completely dead, such as used to happen commonly when you left the headlights on. And still does, with vehicles that don’t have a body control module.

Feh. I have AAA-powered flashlights that provide more output than the flashlight feature of this unit. And he flashing red “emergency” light is so dim that it’s useless. The price was what it’s realistically worth. I hope.
