Wife has been after me to get a sealer for a minute. Today’s deal makes it very hard for me to keep putting it off. Now I just need to order that Anova cooker and I’ll be set.
One of my favorite purchases here was a FoodSaver vacuum sealer. I use it pretty regularly. Not sure about this brand, but the concept is very solid. Sous vide for the win
Got mine, have had a chance to check it out, So far, I like it. For me, possibly the best part is the DOWITYT¹ interface; nothing is automatic except the length of the bag-seal pulse runtime. Sucking out the air is a discrete step, sealing is another, and they are independent of each other. There is one thing for which this unit won’t be as useful as my old non-vacuum sealer, and that’s reusing Amazon plastic bubble envelopes by thermally resealing them². But otherwise, so far it all seems to work properly.

Where exactly is the $90 original price coming from? Vremi & Walmart both have this thing for sale for $54.97, and Amazon has it for $49. And that is with the starter bags PLUS the jar sealer that your copy says isn’t included.
I could use a spare but there are a lot of people at amazon who hate this model with a passion.
@sammydog01 Thanks, I was wondering about that.
@Kyeh It’s very possible they’re people who can’t follow instructions because there are a lot of good reviews too.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@sammydog01 Hmmmm.
I’ve been wanting one of these. The one I had got left behind with my ex.
