Wireless charging is a great thing. The only real downside is that for some reason a lot of the companies that make wireless charging hardware get overly cute with the design. They’re either super sleek and minimalist (and thus extra likely for your phone to move a little and not charge) or they’re weirdly convoluted, liked some sort of adjustable phone stand that’s also a charging station (which is also extra likely for your phone to move a little and not charge).

Well, today’s deal is not that pretty and definitely not that complicated.

It’s a rubber mat where you can plop your phone and be reasonably confident that charging will ensue. (Technically it’s two rubber mats. It’s a two-pack.)

The rubberized material will keep your phone from sliding and if somehow you’ve been careless enough to make it slide around anyway, there’s a nice little fence around the thing to keep it from coming off of there.

It’s pretty great, is what we’re saying. It’s probably a little too utilitarian to look amazing on an obnoxiously aesthetic workstation designed for #productivity TikTok videos, but if you’re looking for no-nonsense charging for cheap, this is that.

Plop your phone down and forget it. You’re going to love it.
