Not overly heavy
Anybody who has ever used a full-sized weighted blanket knows that those things are actually pretty unwieldy. They’re great, assuming you can leave it spread out on your bed and then situate yourself underneath as needed like some sort of yuppie vampire. But as something to keep in a wicker basket next to the couch or whatever—not so good.
This one is a little different. It isn’t super heavy. It’s six pounds.
And it’s a manageable, versatile size that works as a modestly-heavy weighted blanket or as a cozy lap pad or as a firm, supportive pillow. You could bring it in the car or on a trip no problem. When you turn it into a pillow it even zips shut so if you do decide to take one out and about, it isn’t going to unravel on you when you least expect it.
So use it to soothe your jangled nerves like a traditional weighted blanket. Use it to prop your laptop up while you work. Or use it for lumbar support when you’re having a long sit. They’re a little on the small side, so not great for sharing, but that’s why we’re sending you two.
Go ahead and get a weighted blanket that meets you where you are. You’re going to love these things.
