Enjoy responsibly.
You know how sometimes you’re at a gas station and you’re looking at the frankly staggering number of energy drink options? Maybe on a particularly desperate afternoon you even start to convince yourself it might be a good idea. They can’t be that bad for you, right?
For sure they can be. They definitely are. This isn’t really up for debate.
Today’s deal, though? It is, for full transparency, not exactly an organic kale smoothie with ginger and beetroot. It’s a highly concentrated energy drink with 150 mg of caffeine and a flavor that they allege to be at least berry-adjacent.
And they’re awesome.
Except unlike those gas station checkout aisle pick-me-ups, these little guys are non-GMO and free of artificial colors. Also, in addition to their generous (and welcome) dose of caffeine, they also have a bunch of good stuff like ginseng and L-Theanine and antioxidants. By the way, that L-Theanine is a generally calming substance that will nicely balance out the caffeine content—think alertness, but without the jitters.
It’s pretty great.
In a perfect world you might choose a cool glass of ice water and 100 jumping jacks to get your body and brain working properly, but hey…sometimes we just want to meet people where they are.
