Each and every Daelmans Stroopwafel is made of a delicious caramel syrup filling – ‘stroop’, as we say in Dutch – squeezed in between two thin layers of freshly baked dough. Stroopwafels are soft, fragrant and rich. Very, very, very, very, very rich. Each Stroopwafel is loaded with caramel that gets all mixed up and chewy once you bite into it. As it starts melting on your tongue, you’ll be carried along by a thick stream of lava-like stroop.
