Damp no more
You know, when you do a web search for dehumidifier images, you always find a bunch of shots like this one in our photo for today’s deal—the machine sitting elegantly in a well-lit living room with a plant on one side and some perfectly-placed props on the other to signify a tidy homeyness.
Does anyone actually have a dehumidifier sitting in their house like that? Where’s the picture of one sitting in a dank basement between the sump pump and the cat’s litter box? Because that’s where you probably need a dehumidifier.
Regardless, today’s deal is a good one, hooking you up with a high-powered, 22-pint unit for just $79.99. You can dramatically improve your air quality, whether it’s in your basement or in a well-appointed living room that’s apparently unusually damp.
Also, this one has a draining tube. That means that if you’re using it near a floor drain or something like that, you can have the water flow right to there, eliminating the need for you to carry a sloshing bucket around to empty it, or really to pay much attention to it at all.
But either way, if you need to empty it manually it’s really not a big deal either. We’re just being sensitive to the possibility of spilling water in your pristine stock photo living room.
Let’s dry out that wet air! (Wherever it may be.)
