Note that we aren’t saying “dash cams are super important if you drive a really expensive car” or “dash cams are super important if you usually park outside.”
Because while dash cams are great for both of those scenarios, perhaps the best case for having them has to do with something that can happen to anybody—car accidents. If somebody blows through a red light or simply drifts into your lane because they’re messing with their phone, it can be maddeningly difficult to prove your case if you don’t have a recording.
Without video footage or a really good eye witness, you might have no way at all to demonstrate that you weren’t the one who ran the light or that no, in fact, we didn’t just “kinda rub into each other, bro.”
Cut through the nonsense by capturing the whole mess on your dash cam. Your insurance company will be stoked when you tell them about the video.
