Electric scooters are brilliant. If you’re trying to glide around downtown or make haste across the grounds at Burning Man, they’re perfect for you.

But what about for kids? Kids probably don’t need them to zip back and forth from their hot yoga studio to the funky warehouse offices of their freshly IPO’d tech startup, but this is certainly the kind of thing that they could have fun with around the neighborhood just for the heck of it. They’re basically like those Razor scooters that were so hot for a while, only…electric-powered. And with cool lights. They’re neat.

The only downside to the e-scooter equation is that those things can be seriously expensive, even if you’re just paying by the ride for the kind you cruise around on in trendy cities where you can thrown them in the river when you’re done.

These are $69.99 and are more than suitable for giving your kid the electric scooter experience without the electric scooter price tag. These zoom around at up to ten miles an hour, have range that can be as far as 5 miles, and are equipped with colorful LED lights to really set the thing apart.

The kids will love it. IPO tech bros…you probably exceed the weight limit.
