Beep, beep!
Well, this is adorable.
It’s a chunky little toy car that’s perfect for tiny hands and super easy to drive around with the wonderfully basic controller.
Plus the top comes off to create interchangeable characters. There’s a bumble bee, a train, and a ship—all cute, though none are what we’d call cars. Still…just look at the picture. These are really wonderfully designed and look like the kind of thing you’d see in a stock photo of a nursery for a baby who looks like she owns a yacht.
Underneath that cuteness is a properly functional little remote control car chassis, with rubberized wheels and real steering, meaning that once your kid graduates from just trying to swallow the thing whole they’ll be able to actually drive it around.
In fact, we can’t even figure out why this thing ended up here with us instead of on the shelf of some high-end toy store. Maybe it’s because bees don’t have wheels, trains don’t have steering, and ships don’t go on land. Seems like they could have made one of the “car” options an actual car, but that’s kind of a minor gripe that is more than overshadowed by the cuteness of it all.
So yeah. Fifteen bucks. Great little toy. Just grab one.
