Better than a giant TV?
Projectors like this have really been flying under the radar lately. It wasn’t that long ago that a media setup with a projector was some serious “Lifestyle of the Rich and Famous” stuff. Okay actually that was pretty long ago.
“MTV Cribs” maybe?
Yeah that’s better. It wasn’t that long ago that something like this would be a Cribs-level luxury, not something that you can order from SideDeal for less than eighty bucks.
And seriously, even if you don’t have a dedicated media room, one of these can be an awesome thing to trot out from time to time for special occasions. With so much of what we watch being available digitally these days, it’s super easy to bust out the projector and hook it up so that you can watch a football game or an awards show. Think movie nights or series finales that need a little extra something.
You don’t even need a screen or anything like that, provided you have a good-sized square of open wall (or a bedsheet to throw over the curtain rod).
Suddenly you’re going from boring old viewing to a real experience that people will remember, just like that. The only other thing that we’ll point out is that if you really want to make this awesome, you should probably have some decent speakers to complement your setup. Do that and you’re golden.
At this price, you’ll get your money’s worth even if you just use it a couple of times a year. We definitely recommend.
As for your audio setup, today’s bonus deal probably isn’t what you’re looking for, but it’s basically a survivalist’s Bluetooth-enabled dream, so maybe grab one anyway.
