First of all, they look and function an awful lot like a very similar product from a very expensive company who sells theirs for…let’s just say not six bucks each.

So if that kind of retail hack is up your alley, probably just go ahead and order.

But for everybody else, we just need to encourage you to check these things out. They’re truly a best of both worlds kind of solution. Most wireless charging is built into a clunky dock or desk pad or something. This is fine if you’re just going to plop it down and leave it alone, but it kind of stinks if you’re trying to actually use your phone.

But this thing? This will plunk right onto the back of your device and let you hold it in your hand (or leave it on the desk), just like a traditional power cable. All the flexibility, none of the part where you need to make sure you get the plug in the hole just right (and occasionally clean out the lint that gets in there somehow).

They’re pretty great. Hard to beat at two for twelve!
