More than a (great) pun
First of all, the name: Paincakes. Objectively hilarious.
Is that enough to serve as a business model for an entire product? Yes. Is this a great item regardless? Also yes. But would we be still selling these if not for the name? Probably not.
But anyway.
The most important thing is that using a traditional ice pack can be super annoying. And by “traditional ice pack” we mean a normal plastic bag thing, not the ribeye steak your grandpa had you put on your face when the girl up the street gave you your first black eye.
Because a typical plastic ice pack usually slides around and doesn’t stay where you need it to stay. It gets lumpy and weird. It’s the worst.
Now if only your ice pack was…sticky. It would stick where you need it to stick. Like right to your body. Like these.
They’re sticky, reusable, and come in two different sizes so that you can pinpoint your chilly relief to exactly where you need it. You can even walk around without these falling off. Pretty great.
