Not bad.
So we love this charging setup. And we love Anker. You’ll see great stuff from them on here from time to time.
That said, we get why this particular gadget never quite landed. Mostly it’s that these retail for like $80 and that’s just…no. It’s too much.
This is a bummer. Because the whole concept is great. Most wireless charging is fine for plopping your phone down on the table and walking away, but it’s usually not ideal for trying to actually use your device while it’s charging.
Try doing a conference call while using a wireless charging pad. It’s going to look like you dropped your phone in the toilet and you’re looking hopelessly down into the bowl wondering about how to apply the five-second rule in this situation.
Well, this fixes that. Your phone can sit there on top of the soda-can-looking thing and charge, but the top is also hinged so that you can tilt it to an angle suitable for your call or for watching a video or something. It’s pretty great. Doing that even opens up a little spot to charge your AirPods, which is also cool.
It’s all very sleek and pretty and vaguely Apple-ish looking. We think you’re going to love it.
Maybe not $80 worth of loving it, but definitely $30.00.
And again, Anker is great. Fast charging, safety features, all that good stuff. Try one!
