It’s a pretty deluxe little RC car. Instead of just zipping around like these things typically do, it’s going to speed and drift and shoot fake smoke (water vapor?) everywhere, all while looking like something straight out of a certain driving movie franchise with a heavy emphasis on nitrous oxide and the importance of family.

The whole style of the thing is quite special, so if there’s a kid (or adult) in your life (including yourself) who jives with this particular aesthetic, it’s a fun little buy for twenty bucks.

It runs on AA batteries—both the controller and the car—so be sure you have some of those ready to go, with bonus points for rechargability.

By the way, the car is just under a foot long, so perhaps a bit beefier than what you’re imagining. It also seems to have two engines. So, you know…manage your expectations around visual realism accordingly.
