Solid as a (very useful) brick
Part of living that Bluetooth speaker life is being in a semi-constant state of wondering how much battery life is left.
We’ve all pretty much accepted this to be true, but it doesn’t have to be that way. (Man, it was almost nicer back when literally everything just plugged into a wall.)
Well as far as battery power goes, this one is a powerhouse. Instead of you worrying about it, it can worry about you. That’s because in addition to its own very respectable 12 hours of plug-free playtime, it also has an on-board powerbank to charge your phone (or other less capable and independent device).
Yeah, that phone of yours looks very slick with its slim case and giant screen, but a lot of good it’ll do you as you watch that last 20 percent of battery life dwindle before your eyes when you’re far away from a charger.
This speaker, on the other hand, is less pretty, way happier to absorb a bump or a drop, and admirably willing to lend you a charge when you really need it.
It’s rugged and durable and comes through in a pinch. Couple that with the fact that it also sounds quite great, and you’ve got a speaker that does all you could really ask, and then some.
Unless of course it gets wet, right? Wrong. It’s damn waterproof, too. Just saying.
It’s the best way to bring your music out and about. And for nineteen bucks? It’s a no-brainer.
