It’s not a hover board, but…
Can we just pause for a moment to reflect on just how cool it is that something like this exists?
Spotting one in the wild isn’t exactly like when Marty McFly finds the hoverboard (which, film purists will remind you, was actually a hover scooter until Marty ripped the stick thing off of it). But it is pretty rad to see one. You’ll keep waiting for the kid to put their foot down for another push, but nope, just zoooooooooom.
It’s neat.
Anyway, it’s also cool that things like this went from the obnoxious overpriced tech bro phase to the reasonable consumer-grade price point in record time. It wasn’t that long ago that riding an electric scooter meant that you founded an internet startup and now you can buy one from us for under a hundred bucks.
So yeah. If you’re reading this, today’s scooter is probably too small for you personally, but there’s a good chance that there’s a kid in your life who would be stoked to have one of these.
Just get one. It’ll be an awesome surprise.
