Omnibus 7 by Ken Jennings & John Roderick

Compatible or Not

To the Omnibus fans: You get the joke! Now you can label yourself just as Ken and John label the subject of each week’s episode as either compatible or not compatible with Marxism!

To those who aren’t super familiar with Omnibus: Omnibus’s hosts–Ken Jennings of Jeopardy! (among other things) and John Roderick of The Long Winters (among other things)–seek to chronicle the weird corners of our culture. And by “our” culture, we mean all of human culture. The two of them assemble these recordings in the hopes that they might educate whoever (or whatever) inherits the earth following our inevitable apocalypse. Each episode takes on a specific subject–which can be anything from mail trucks to Cincinnati chili to leafblowers–and at the end, as part of a recurring bit, they declare whether the subject in question is or is not compatible with Marxism. Hence, the shirts.

To the Marxists, who found this page via a Google alert for pro-Marxist apparel: We’re sorry there’s a shirt that says “Not Compatible with Marxism.”

To the anti-Maxists, who found this page via a Google alert for anti-Marxist apparel: We’re sorry there’s a shirt that says “Compatible with Marxism.”

To those who feel no certain way about both Omnibus and Marxism: Why are you even here?
