Tiny Tower
This one is a little trippy. It looks like a floor fan at first glance—one of those towers that you see sometimes in the corner of fancy lofts in expensive catalogs.
But it’s actually like a foot tall, perfect for a desk. (And terrible for the corner of your expensive loft.)
Basically you get a compact little air mover that can sit just a little bit away from you and quietly cool your general vicinity with a minimum of fuss. You can use it horizontally or vertically, which is kind of neat, plus it’s powered via USB, which is potentially handy. And just use the included adapter if you find this unhandy.
