Power, supplied
Today’s deal is for a powerbank. What kind of powerbank, do you ask?
It’s the kind that saves your butt when your phone would otherwise die and leave you stranded, that’s what kind.
Because ultimately, even though this is from Anker (who make great stuff) and even though it has a very juicy 10,000 mAh of power on board (which is a lot), the fundamental value is still pretty much the same as any other powerbank—being there for you when you need it.
Don’t get us wrong, it’s nice to buy from a well-known brand like Anker with a reputation for making products that don’t explode and start fires. And yeah, it’s also nice to have a really generous amount of power on hand if something crazy happens and you need to do more than limp out of low-battery mode to make a call.
But really the point of a powerbank is simply to have a powerbank, and all the things that make this a great one are pretty much gravy.
So go ahead and drop twenty bucks on the peace of mind that only an emergency power supply can provide.
It’s not bad to look at, by the way. But again—not the point.
Just go ahead and get one of these before you need one, okay?
