Take a breath…
A lot of indoor air purifiers like this suffer from one of two problems. Either they are too big and clunky (and expensive) to be reasonable to have in any room that people actually use, or they’re too small and underpowered (and, honestly, still too expensive) to really do any good.
This one splits the difference perfectly, covering a room of up to 500 square feet in a medium-sized package that is capable of being both effective and out of the way. Not only that, but it’s downright nice to look at. It has an elegantly modern design that is pretty stylish if you care but mostly just blends into the background, which is what you really want anyway.
Functionality-wise, it’s a four-stage filter that runs your household air through a serious filtration gauntlet including a pre-filter, the HEPA filter, a cold catalyst, and activated carbon filters. Not bad for sixty bucks! (To be fair, it retails at $175+ if you can even find one…)
As far as controls go, you get everything you need without a lot of nonsense—fan speed, quiet mode, on/off timer, etc.
