Suck it up.
Okay so when you think of Shark, what comes to mind?
(Not in general. In context. Think vacuums.)
Shark, for most of us, is the brand that makes totally legit cleaning gear but hasn’t gone completely bonkers like Dyson or Miele, thinking that charging hundreds and hundreds of dollars for a vacuum cleaner is normal and okay.
Except do you know what? Shark actually has gone precisely that amount of bonkers. The only difference is that they still make plenty of lower priced stuff, too. And believe it or not, even though we have today’s deal priced at $160, this actually isn’t an example of their low end. Because this sucker retails for $450+.
Yikes.
We genuinely like Shark products, but if you’re paying anywhere close to that it seems like you should at least get something with a brand name that would impress someone on one of those Real Housewives shows.
But at $160? Yeah, that sounds about right.
For that price, you get a full-sized upright vacuum with a canister part that comes off (“LiftAway” they call it) so that you can do stairs or walls or weird messes that are otherwise hard to reach with the wheely part.
Pretty great, right?
So go ahead and drop cheap vacuum money on expensive vacuum quality (with a cheap vacuum name). We know it’s a little complicated, but you get the idea.
