Got one of these when they were on Meh a month ago, works well. Pretty loud, occasionally much louder when the bucket vibrates into a particular position. Easily remedied by poking it with a toe, but annoying when it happens in the middle of the night.
Using this paired with the AC in the bedroom. Relative humidity increases as air temperature decreases, so even if it’s not super humid to begin with, keeping a comfortable sleeping temp for me results in a pleasantly cool but unpleasantly humid bedroom, and excessive moisture buildup inside the AC unit. With this running at the same time, it’s significantly more comfortable in there, and no more water sloshing around in the AC.
I also got one from Meh recently. The manufacture date was 2019, which is not ideal. It works but runs nearly constantly to try to get the humidity to the target level.

@mgoblue62 Do dehumidifiers have an expiration date?
@troy, I’ve heard that it’s not good for the refrigerant to sit unused for years.
That’s a really aggressive price…
My Honeywell has been running non-stop for about 10 years and I’ve been thinking about buying a spare for when it finally dies.
Maybe today is the day?
