The right answer
There are longer indoor extension cords than this and there are power strips with way more outlets than this, but do you know what? There really shouldn’t be.
Because honestly, if you’re running power for more than eight feet or plugging more than three things into one outlet, you probably need to rethink your electrical problem solving since both of those moves sound like fire hazards waiting to happen. You need a new outlet or to add a surge protector or something.
But if you just need to carry some power from over here to (slightly) over there while giving yourself a couple of extra outlets to work with, these are what you need. Not only will they do exactly that, but they are braided and kind of beautiful, neither of which are common when it comes to utilitarian electrical stuff like this.
You’re going to get two of these for ten bucks! Probably don’t plug one into the other, though. Then you’re back to that fire hazard thing we avoided earlier.
