From sea to shining sea?
These candles claim to reflect “the iconic scents of America” by evoking the “nostalgic fragrances of each state.”
This feels like…a stretch.
Are they saying that when you light this, you’re going to get a whiff of some sort of coast-to-coast amalgamation reflecting everything from the salty ocean spray of Santa Monica to the breathtaking cheesesteaks of Philadelphia? Are you supposed to simultaneously take in the sizzling fajitas of the southwest and the rusty ice melt of the Great Lakes? Or maybe they come on one at a time like that dinner-flavored candy from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
We’re guessing they just smell like soy wax and the copywriters got a little carried away when writing about candles. (It’s been known to happen.)
Either way, you get two and there’s an American flag on there!
