Tasty enough for all
It feels like naming yourselves “The Gluten Free Brothers” probably seemed like a good idea at the time, but at this point we’re pretty sure that the branding is dragging down these otherwise desirable protein balls.
Oh well. Questionable branding for otherwise quality merchandise is pretty high on the list of how we end up getting our hands on things, so it’s definitely more of an observation than a complaint.
Either way, with today’s deal you get a low price for a whole bunch of these high-protein, zero-gluten snacks. And aside from all of their obvious healthy bonafides—and we realize that this is a bit subjective—they’re also just very clearly…food. Like instead of some sort of heavily processed blob of indistinguishable sludge, you get these balls that are easily identified chunks of actual ingredients.
You’ll feel less like a decadent snacker and more like a dutiful forager as you pop these tasty little suckers into your mouth and satisfy your appetite without feeling gross and weighed down.
They’re pretty great, is what we’re saying. And, no, unfortunately, we don’t think leaning into the trendy and minimalistic “GFB” branding is going to salvage the business model here. But hey, their loss is your gain—enjoy!
