For most things
At a time when toasters are getting ever larger, slottier, and more connected to the internet, this is a pretty refreshing design. It just toasts stuff—mostly bread, up to two slices at a time (but is also happy with one). It doesn’t need your Wi-Fi password. And it doesn’t take up half your counter space.
If you have relatively basic toasting needs, we think you’ll love it, is what we’re saying.
In addition to the usual “brownness” lever, this one also has some of those other handy settings that you use when you’re toasting stuff like Pop Tarts or that frozen bread you just pulled out of the back of the freezer in a moment of desperation.
Heck, there’s even a “single slice” feature, which can actually be super nice if you’ve ever experienced weirdly uneven toast operating without it.
It’s also from Cuisinart, which is pretty hard to beat if you’re hoping for many years of effective, no-nonsense toasting.
Great little tool for the job. Looks nice on the counter, too.
