Distance your speakers, too
Here’s a cheap trick (that will also play Cheap Trick): stereo sound massively increases how good a set of speakers sound. We’re not going to tell you that these portable speakers will rival your high-end living room set-up. And at $7, you shouldn’t believe us if we did. But we will tell you that having a left and right audio channel lets your brain hear much more of the nuance and distinctions in the music you’re listening to. That added complexity tricks your brain into thinking the sound quality overall is much higher than should be possible.
