- The Chizl uses two main techniques:
- Pin & Stretch: Used to help stop overactive muscles from firming as much, and can also pin a trigger point & mobilize the associated joint
- Glide Technique: Performed by sliding with moderate force until you feel knots or pain, then treating the area using a press & release or cross-friction pattern
- Includes three attachments for precise treatments:
- Wedge: Designed for short or long tissue glides to improve blood flow and neurological connectivity to the fascia that is tight, causing weakness or limited range of motion
- Thumb: Small, smooth, yet incredibly strong, it’s great for getting deep into the knots for a pin & stretch as well as being easy to control for tissue glides on any area
- Cone: Utilizes a fine point tip for detail work that is often hard to reach, like hands and feet. Can also be used to separate muscle fibers that often get stuck together like quads, calves & tibialis
