Dearest futurelings!
We know you are, as a whole, accustomed to ‘looking ahead.’ After all, if you’re here, it’s because you’re devotees to Omnibus: an audio chronicle of curiosities assembled with great care by Ken Jennings and John Roderick, for the express purpose of educating the beings who inherit the Earth (after some inevitable cataclysm leads to the downfall of human society) about our many quirks and oddities.
But this is quite the long view. With your minds trained on the centuries and millennia beyond your own existence, you might lose track of the day-to-day changes happening all around you. Like, for example, the leaves turning vibrant colors. And the days getting shorter. And the music in the grocery store getting jollier and jollier.
What we’re saying is: winter is almost here. And with winter comes the holidays. Hence, we offer this holiday-themed Omnibus shirt now, so we can ship it in early December, and you can wear it straight through to New Year’s Eve.
Because, yes, it is important to catalog the various strange customs and fads we experience before the apocalypse (whenever and however it comes).
But that doesn’t mean we can’t also spread a little cheer.
