High-powered hair drying
Cool cool cool—hair dryers have now gotten the Dyson treatment and we’ve started to normalize paying literally hundreds of dollars for them. Fantastic.
This one isn’t a Dyson, but it is a Shark. And Shark is among our favorite brands when it comes to buying lower-cost alternatives to preposterously expensive consumer products. Though as much as we like Shark, we also have to point out that sometimes they get a little feisty themselves when it comes to setting prices, with premium options that have price tags creeping towards the very competition they were put on this Earth to destroy, or at least undercut.
That’s where we come in.
Instead of spending $400 on the Dyson they want you to spend $250 on the Shark. We, on the other hand, wanted to work with Shark to come up with a deal on a bunch of refurbished ones so that you can pick yours up for $79.99.
So while we’ll admit that we’re not sure about exactly what makes a super expensive hair dryer worthy of the super expensive price tag, we’re pretty sure that we’ve found some sort of sweet spot when it comes to this one.
You get the dryer, the attachments—all the stuff you want. It’s pretty stylish and compact, even. All for just…way, way less than people are apparently paying for such things. Let’s get you drying your hair like a pro (but for less).
