Not a rental
We’re kind of struggling to imagine someone paying the $1,000 retail price on one of these, but damned if it isn’t a great little electric scooter once it drops closer to three hundred bucks.
You’ll be zipping around with all the speed of a tourist in some city where the locals probably really resent the fleet of rental scooters constantly getting chucked into the bay. Except you’ll be properly competent as a rider because, you know…you own the thing.
These will carry you along at up to 15.5 mph with a range of something like 28 miles. It’s absolutely capable of being a proper little runabout in all kinds of scenarios where you might need one.
There’s an app to help you manage the battery life and all that good stuff, plus a display that’ll give you important info without having to touch your phone.
We can kind of see you on one of these.
