Sorry, pests.
Today’s deal is really a technological grey area. It’s kind of similar to when cell phones were first invented. They worked, but they were just a little too clunky for comfort.
Like…someday you’ll probably be able to zap bugs right out of the air with some sort of handheld laser or something, but we’re not quite there yet. So this isn’t exactly the smartphone equivalent of fly swatters, but it’s still a heck of a lot better than smashing those suckers the old-fashioned way.
And no, we’re not suggesting that you lack the strength or precision to squash a bug like your forefathers did, but there are definitely some benefits to electrification.
For one, you don’t have to squash a bug against something. Smashing the guts out of a small creature into your wall or kitchen table is objectively gross.
Secondly, these have stands. That’s great for charging, but you can also leave them on and use these things like indoor bug zappers. Will flys just cruise right into these deadly electric tennis rackets? Apparently!
Give it a try. For 3,000 volts of portable electric bug death, you’re not going to find a better deal anywhere.
