So many colors
In the grand scheme of cool but not wholly necessary technology, it’s pretty lame that more people don’t embrace LED light strips like this. Because they’ve become really inexpensive (if you buy them from the right place…), really easy to set up, and they generally provide a whole lot of cool for not a lot of effort.
With today’s deal, you get thirty-two feet of lighting for ten bucks, which is a remarkable deal. It’s great if you’re trying to crank out a minor lighting project for $10 all-in and it’s potentially even more great if you’re doing something more elaborate that might require more than one without breaking the bank.
Basically, these are exactly what you’d expect, though perhaps with a bit higher quality than you’re used to seeing in the cheap LED lighting space. You’ll find that these are nicely flexible and let you get them situated exactly where you want, whether that’s behind your TV/monitor, underneath shelving for a cool accent, or somewhere else entirely.
You’ll be able to control all the settings with the app, including displaying up to 12 colors at once. (A lot of similar products let you do exactly one color at a time, which is lame.)
So if you’ve even had a passing thought about decking out your space with some programmable LED ambience, you’ll be hard-pressed to do better than these.
Oh, and if you want something to really complement the whole aesthetic, we’ve got something similarly cool over on Meh. (Just scroll past the Cyber Monday rant. This is a tough time of year for them over there.)
