@lichen It certainly seems like they had some QC issues. Most of these failures don’t seem catastrophic - your gear would stay dry, but if the air goes out it will definitely melt the ice.
Not sure what the reviews are saying since I haven’t looked at any, but I did order these previously and had an issue with one of them (gifted the other). The air I inflated would leak out somewhat slowly over the course of a few hours. This presumably caused condensation to occur on the bottom outside (if not a water leak). Haven’t tested it’s capacity to hold room temp water in or out.
I wonder if the manufacturer did any QA in the fabrication. At this point, the only time I’d ever use this again, without further testing, is if I carried ice packs in lieu of plain ice.

Seems like a pretty good deal if these were JUST dry bags, but they’re also very functional coolers? In for 4.
@heegemcgee
Lots of the reviews on Amazon show the lining tearing at the stitches. Still… Probably a decent deal.

@zxinfinity Just got mine today. The outside material is already showing stress lines (future cracks) from being folded in the packaging.
Should be good enough for on the kayak.
