Winter weather opens up all sorts of fashion possibilities.

And if we’re being totally candid, most of us blow it.

Because even though there are tons of options when it comes to outerwear and accessories and hats and gloves, most of us end up trudging through the cold in the same tired gear every day like little kids walking to school in a movie set in the 50s.

Part of that is because being cold is miserable and when you’ve found something that makes you feel less like that, you go with it, even if you run the risk of becoming “red hat guy” or “puffy coat lady” for a few months.

But boy, even as we say all that, the idea of coming up with an eclectic variety of fashionable winter pieces starts to feel tiring. Like…are you really going to go out and carefully select several stylish pairs of gloves and a different cool-looking knit cap for every weekday?

No. It doesn’t need to come to that.

That’s because nobody is looking at your hands anyway and you don’t need to go out hat shopping like you’re in a Julia Roberts movie montage, because we’re going to hit you with five all at once.

People will be impressed, even though they won’t be able to put their finger on exactly why.
