No matter how magical an experience may be, there are certain moments that never fail to deliver an underwhelming dose of mundane reality.

It doesn’t matter how good a movie is, the theater floor will always have that slightly sticky grittiness that takes you out of the moment, just ever so slightly. No matter how much you love your new car, you’ll eventually be stuck in traffic until you’re tempted to abandon it on the side of the road.

And regardless of how wondrous a holiday party might be, at some point you’ll end up sliding into a restroom, where all the novelty Santa soap dispensers and questionably-placed mistletoe in the world can’t hide the vaguely poop-scented fog of those who came before.

Well, it doesn’t have to be that way.

You don’t need to leave the bathroom in a hazy funk and you don’t have to endure the aftermath of Boozy Uncle Eggnog doing the same. Because it turns out that the shameless genius of PooPourri is now available in charming holiday scents.

Leave a couple of bottles in your guest bathroom and your holiday guests can do their business with festive impunity. Some will probably make a spur-of-the-moment decision to upgrade their planned #1 to an impromptu #2 when faced with the possibility of making the whole endeavor smell like vanilla peppermint. And isn’t that the kind of simple relief that the season of giving is all about?

Let’s make that half bath just a little more welcoming this time around.

Unless of course you’ve got an industrial bathroom vent fan and/or a distantly-situated outhouse. In that case, just focus on the tree, we guess?
