It kept my coffee hot for a very long time. I expect when the warm weather comes. It will do the same for my ice tea as a cooler. I was expecting something to function like my Ember cup. Although the base can be used to keep my phone charged, I was under the impression it would keep my coffee warm. This is the 2nd set of these that I have bought of these on Morning Save! My husband bought these for me last Christmas (at a much higher cost than here at MorningSave) and I work in Florida for Spring Training with the Pittsburgh Pirates. I can put my ice cold water in these at 9:00 a.m. work all day long and at 4:00 p.m. at the end of the game in the hot Florida sun my water is still as cold as in the a.m. Same with traveling, when we travel to and from Florida to PA and vise versa.
