A bright idea
Look at these things.
They’re bright. They’re rugged. They’re versatile.
They’re the kind of thing where you’d be stoked to have one when you needed it, but even then you’d be thinking of how nice it would be to have a few more.

Each one is durable and versatile, working as a flashlight or a lantern and just as happy hanging from the handle as sitting on its base. Speaking of the base, it’s magnetic. That means you can stick it on the side of your toolbox or your car or wherever when you need some light in a hard-to-place spot.
They run on good old AAs, which will give you up to 16 hours of light in lantern mode. Unless you live in that weird part of the arctic circle where it’s dark for six months in a row, 16 hours is probably longer than any dark night you’ll have to face.
