The Japanese Satsuma Orange is known as “One of the sweetest citrus varieties, with a meltingly tender texture”. It has particularly delicate flesh, dotted with large and prominent oil glands, and cannot withstand the effects of careless handling. The delicate extraction of the Satsuma oils delivers a unique, relaxing, aromatic citrus note.
On the other hand, is the hearty spice thyme. Ancient Romans used this aromatic evergreen in baths, burnt it as incense, and often given to soldiers as a sign of courage before the battle. With its lovely and gentle aroma, thyme blends beautifully into fragrances, enhancing and bringing subtlety to the mix.
