Almost there...
Okay, so the good news is that we’re entering that “light at the end of the tunnel” phase of this whole pandemic thing. The only real downside of that is that we’re actually entering what will probably end up being a pretty tricky phase of this whole experience.
Presumably we’re going to start emerging from out winter cocoons and experiencing the world a bit more in the months ahead. But that world will be full of weird little challenges, like a constantly shifting mix of vaccinated and unvaccinated people. We’ll have people with one dose waiting on their second and people who have recovered from being sick and nobody will know for sure what any of that means until the data sorts out.
“I had my first dose last week but also had coronavirus in January and yeah I’ve been coughing a bit, but also my temperature is fine…”
Cool story. We’re just going to run the other way and go hide under a desk until it’s our turn in the vaccine line.
Yeah, it’s going to be a bizarre spring season for sure.
But that doesn’t mean you have to touch icky things!
As we do get out and about, this little doodad can help you navigate potential grossness, whether that means a public door handle or the keypad of a credit card machine or a grimy elevator button—all things that, let’s face it, are kind of icky in the best of circumstances.
