It’s made of metal!
This is another one of those “save a crapload of money by buying refurbished” deals and honestly it’s kind of a big one.
Cuisinart stuff is great to begin with. Plus this model happens to be made of actual metal, which—when you think about items that are going to spin steel blades crazy fast on your kitchen counter while sitting somewhere between eye-level and crotch-level—is definitely a good thing.
It’s got enough power to handle whatever you throw at it and enough versatility to do low-speed stuff like mincing herbs.
The only catch here is that “refurbished” bit, which honestly hardly counts as a catch at all. Your blender will be as good as new with all of the usual warranty and other goodies intact.
Save yourself some dough while getting a serious blender that works as good as it looks. Your only real decision is the color.
And maybe whether you’re going to break this thing in with daiquiris or kale shakes.
