Does it ever feel like modern life is too…modern?
Every stupid thing just has to be so damn cool all the time.
McDonald’s used to look like an actual daycare with colorful characters and playground equipment, yet now they’re all being remodeled to look like swanky minimalist coffee shops or something.
Everything is sleek and hip. Fridges and toasters are trying to look fashionable. And don’t get us started on fancy lighting that all looks like it was designed in the not-too-distant future.
Where’s the character in any of that??
Gone. That’s where.
And yet LED tech with RGB and wireless charging are all objectively swell things that are very nice to actually use. So really we just want to keep all the features while maybe still having a throwback aesthetic to make you feel cozy and at home.
This is that.
It does all the tech things you want a lamp to do, but also looks like something that your oldest coolest uncle would have used when writing his road trip memoirs.
