On-the-go audio
These are steel drink tumblers that are also Bluetooth speakers and it’s not as dumb as you think.
For one, these would be really nice tumblers even if they didn’t play music. This is really saying something when you consider how stupidly expensive regular tumblers like this have become. You’d be lucky to find one for $24 a lot of the time and you can tell that the manufacturers know they’re getting away with something because when you buy them you get a bumper sticker for your car with their name on it so you can convince yourself that you’re buying into a lifestyle and not just a coffee mug. (It’s for sure just a coffee mug, though.)
So yeah. A decent pair of tumblers for the price, for sure.
But also, the Bluetooth! And it turns out that while carrying around a standalone Bluetooth speaker is kind of awkward and weird, having one that’s part of your drink is pretty awesome. You’re already carrying it around, so it’s right there in your hand. Plus once you have the music going, you can skip songs and make other adjustments without having to take your phone out of your pocket. So now instead of being another distracted dork fiddling with your phone when you’re supposed to be watching the soccer game or whatever, you’re DJ Drink, mixing up an on-the-spot soundtrack like there’s nothing to it.
The bottom line is that if you want to carry your music around, this is the way to do it. Did we mention that you get two? (Different colors, too!)
