Not a gimmick
Have you looked at a baby registry lately? It’s kind of a trip. New parents apparently need all sorts of things that we’re not certain we even knew existed.
This isn’t that, though.
This is the kind of tried-and-true baby care item that, if anything, is now underrepresented on baby supply lists. This isn’t because babies don’t need baby bottle sterilizers. It’s just that baby bottle sterilizers aren’t cute and baby bottle sterilizers aren’t chic.
There aren’t trendy ones. There aren’t stylish ones. There aren’t ones with fun irreverent names.
They’re just kind of…there. They look like this. They don’t come from companies like Diaper Genie, they come from companies like Black+Decker.
Which is too bad. Because if we had some much cooler version of this with color-changing LEDs and a Bluetooth connection that you don’t really need, we’d totally hook you up.
But as it stands, this is just one of those things that people need and so we’re selling it. Oh and it’s also really high capacity—up to 13 regular bottles at once, or 9 wide-neck ones. This seems like overkill until you realize just how many bottles can actually pile up in the course of a day. (Believe us, the last thing you want to be doing is running multiple loads because your sterilizer can only do four bottles at a time.)
So if you need one, here you go. And if you’re buying baby gifts for someone, they definitely need one, too—even if it isn’t on their excruciatingly curated registry list.
