Fuel your suburban dreams.
It’s never been easier to put together a pretty wild outdoor display, especially when it comes to Halloween and Christmas. Big inflatables make eight foot holiday characters financially reasonable and it sure seems like Home Depot now generates more of its annual revenue from giant skeletons in October than they do from power tools the rest of the year.
So really your own imagination (and maybe decor budget) is the limit when it comes to this stuff, or at least it would be if you happened to have like half a dozen outlets conveniently situated on the front of your house.
But you probably don’t.
These yard stake power strips can go a long way, though, giving you six outlets at a time with overload protection and a built-in timer. The overload protection is important because you’re probably pushing your luck with the power you’re drawing from that one box over there on the porch and the timer is honestly a refreshingly simple solution when you compare it to “smarter” options that are almost certainly going to require you to create some sort of an online account and will probably go haywire if your wifi goes out.
Anyway, these will open up your decoration options considerably, whether you’re talking spooky season, Christmas, or anything else on the calendar.
(Seriously, though. Just buy that big crazy thing at the hardware store that always scares the kids. It’s time.)
