This replaces only the inside part of your existing deadbolt setup, meaning that the hardware inside doesn’t change and your door key still works. So you can give yourself great smart lock features like remote lock/unlock from your phone without needing more than a screwdriver to get it done.
It’s a great little foot in the door (ha!) to the whole smart home ecosystem, beginning with how you come and go. The app is nice and the WiFi gateway helps make sure your connection is optimal and ready when you need it.
Runs on regular AA batteries that you’ll need to change like twice a year, by the way.
